Bucket and Spade

For our honeymoon we went to the Algarve in Portugal.

There was a lot to organise. There was the accommodation, which had to be a villa, with its own swimming pool. I booked a villa (with pool), via Villas to Go, near a small town called Carvoeiro, about 40 minutes from Faro airport. We flew from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, and I booked the flights through Easyjet. We also decided to get a hire car to get us from the airport and for running around in, just a small economy car would do, which I booked through Budget.

Over the next few pages are some notes about our first family holiday abroad. We all had a really great time and it was so good relaxing in the sunshine, without a care in the world. It was thoroughly enjoyable and sharing this time with Gemma and Ellie was just amazing.

While we were there we were even thinking where we’d go on holiday next year. Can’t wait to do this all again.
